    Dubai Metro Map Overview

For 2025–2026, the practical Dubai Metro map shows operational Red and Green routes, plus future Blue and Gold corridors. The Red Line runs from the airport side toward Jebel Ali, UAE Exchange and the Expo route, while the Green Line runs from Etisalat by e& to Creek.

On a good map, operational lines should be solid, while planned routes like the Blue Line and Gold Line should appear dotted or faded. Interchange stations matter most: Union and BurJuman are the main transfer points between Red and Green lines.

The Dubai Metro operates across 47 stations on two main lines, covering a total network of 74.6 kilometers. The Red and Green lines form the backbone of public transport in Dubai.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best metro station for visiting Burj Khalifa?
Use Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall on the Red Line. It has an air-conditioned pedestrian link into Dubai Mall, with signs toward the Burj Khalifa entrance. The walk from train to mall is usually 10–15 minutes.
How do I get to Dubai Marina using the metro map?
Follow the Red Line toward the Jebel Ali / UAE Exchange end and use Sobha Realty or DMCC. These stations connect with the Dubai Tram, and the map often marks the tram interchange.
Can I use one Nol Card for my whole family on the metro?
No. Each passenger needs their own Nol Card to pass through the gates. Small children under the height limit (around 90 cm) may travel free.
Is the Dubai Metro running late at night and early morning?
The metro generally runs from 5:00 AM until midnight, with longer hours on Fridays. It is not a 24-hour service. Check RTA notices for holiday extensions.
How accurate are printed Dubai Metro maps?
Printed maps are reliable for existing Red and Green Lines, but may not show the latest construction stage for the Blue Line. Use digital maps (S'hail App) for the most current updates.
