What Is the Student NOL Card?
The Student NOL Card is a personalized smart card issued by the RTA for students in Dubai. It offers a 50% discount on all public transportation fares, including the Metro, Tram, and Buses.
It works through a stored balance system. Students tap in and tap out at gates or validators, and the discounted fare is automatically deducted based on the number of zones crossed.
Eligibility is based on age (5–23 years) and enrollment at an accredited education provider in the UAE (Schools, Colleges, or Universities).

Students pay exactly 50% of the standard Silver class fare. This applies to all zones across Dubai.
