Where is my
Nol Tag ID?
Confused by the numbers on your card? Learn how to find the 10-digit Tag ID required for balance checks, top-ups, and Nol Plus registration.
Every Dubai Nol card has two different identification numbers. To check your balance online or via the RTA app, you must use the 10-digit Tag ID, not the longer 18-digit card number.
The Difference: Tag ID vs. Card Number
18 Digits
Example: 0000 0000 0000 0000 00
Used for internal RTA systems and physical card identification.
10 Digits
Example: 1234567890
This is the number you need for all online balance checks and top-ups!
Where to find it (By Card Type)
Reverse Side
Flip the card over. The 10-digit Nol Tag ID is printed in the bottom right corner, just below the barcode or QR code.
Below Your Name
On personalized cards, the Tag ID is usually found on the back, printed clearly in the center or bottom left area.
Near the Logo
For paper tickets (Red), look for the 10-digit number beside the RTA logo on the back side of the ticket.
NFC Shortcut (Tip)
Can\'t read the numbers? If you have an NFC-enabled smartphone, simply open the Nol Pay App and tap your card. It will tell you your Tag ID instantly!
Protect Your Numbers
Never share your 10-digit Tag ID with strangers. While it can\'t be used to steal your identity, it can be used to check your travel history if registered.
